The editors of Mountain Living have published their 2021 ML List which they describe as an ‘exclusive guide to the most talented influential architects and interior designers at work in the West today.’
Peace Design is pleased and humbled to be on the list amongst such an impressive group who are clearly at the top of their game. Working out West has been a joy and privilege and we always do our best to honor the majestic landscapes of mountain living.
When building and designing an alpine refuge, architecture and the interior design plays an integral part. The natural elements of the outdoors become the focal point of each room through expansive windows and framed views. Beyond that, combining the right materials and textures layered together only adds to the serenity. Hearty and natural materials are best. In particular, reclaimed wood – which has already proven its longevity – adds provenance and history. With the mountains of Montana as a backdrop, your only choice is to honor their majesty.
